This sadly defunct Oxford, UK quintet are top. They are severely underrated. Nick Cope and the boys sure did know how to pen a song.
He has been hailed by many as one of the greatest songwriters of our time. Buy his latest live CD, Showtunes, if you enjoy the fine pop music.

Severely underrated Carolina pop. Magic.
Head Fountains, Schlesinger and Collingwood, have a flair for writing pop songs. Their newest album, Utopia Parkway, is pure quality.

The Mutton Birds - New Zealand popsters. Great stuff.
Neil Finn - Former Split Enz/Crowded House member. A pop genius.

Glen Phillips - Former frontman for Toad. Remarkable voice. A real talent.
Glenn Tilbrook - Former Squeeze frontman. Genius with a voice sent from heaven.
Stereophonics - Welsh. Top songs.
Superdrag - Fellow Tenneseeans. Top songs. A really great band.
Travis - The (second) best band in Scotland.
Catherine Wheel - Swirling UK guitar pop. Recommended.
